The 51st release on Spherax Records sees the debut of another great up and coming producer Dmitry Molosh. Dmitry hails from Belarus and has seen the majority of his releases come courtesy of the excellent German label Mu.Too. His productions have already earned support from Kasey Taylor, Jaytech and Vinayak A. Dmitry’s debut for Spherax is entitled ‘Raindrops’ and it comes with a remix from Andy Lansky. The ‘Raindrops’ original kicks the EP off with a wobbly acidic groove that creates a nice dark energy. As the composition builds some smooth chord changes and lovely bell accents bring about a surreal sounding melodic vibe which is developed nicely during the main drop. The melodies are haunting and irresistibly gorgeous, especially when set against that grinding dance floor friendly groove which gives a perfect flow of smooth emotional energy. Top shelf intelligent and emotional progressive house from Dmitry Molosh. The lone remix is supplied by German producer Andy Lansky who is also making his Spherax debut here after appearances on Mu.Too and High Jack in 2011. Andy’s ‘Raindrops’ interpretation brings a slightly groovier and a more club friendly vibe to composition. A chunky, rolling bass line lays the foundation and presents great progressive energy. Superb instrumentation, smooth transitions and a subtle but anthemic vibe builds throughout for what results in an emotionally rich finale that’s should see a massive reaction from your dance floor!
